1970- 1971 - Varioprint AG founded in Heiden and production of the first single-sided printed circuit boards.
1979 - Move to new building at the current location at Mittelbissaustrasse.
1993 - Management buyout, takeover of the company by the management, with 85 employees.
1999 - renovation of plant 1 and opening of the 2nd plant.
2008 - Entrepreneur Prize Eastern Switzerland, Swiss Venture Club and Entrepreneur of the Year, Ernst&Young.
2009 - Completion and inauguration of the new office building by the Swiss President Hans-Rudolf Merz.
2018 - 48 eventful years with meanwhile 150 employees.
2020 - Andreas Schmidheini hands over Varioprint to Nicolas Härtsch after 30 successful years.
